Progress Update

We had plans to build an 8x8x8 box in Solidworks to be our safe but because the volume of the material we are given for 3d printing is a  lot less than we need, we have decided to build it out of Plexiglass. The actual mechanism we use to turn the latch and hinge will be made in Solidworks only instead. Our code is written for the most part though. The main thinking process the arduino will undergo can be shown in the diagram below.

Intel On The Objective

Our design lab project is one fore the ages. We are designing a safe with solid works that will house an arduino uno board that is rigged to it. The arduino will be controlled from the outside of the door of the safe with four potentiometers. The indicator light will be red until the potentiometers are aligned in the right positions which will trigger the indicator light to turn green. When the light turns green a motor will turn a solid works made locking mechanism and unlock the safe from the inside. Inside the safe will be our objective which we needed to obtain which is made up of fake money. We are calling our group the Merry Men which was a famous thieving group. The famous group belonged to an even more famous robber who is one we all know. Robin Hood.
